I love the moment at the end when she says his name and the audience is allowed to see her scared but also BRUCE sees she’s scared and it’s the first time Bruce starts to trust that Natasha actually means what she says. She stops being another SHIELD agent and starts to be a person who actually feels. If they survive this, she’ll help him.

I think it’s one of the reasons he is willing to come back later when he could easily have taken the chance to disappear, it’s not like he knew there was a giant alien army attacking New York, all he saw was Loki and some mercenaries. But he trusts her to be able to keep him out of SHIELD’s clutches if he takes the risk and so for once, he finally takes it.
